On Thursday, August 22, 2019, Anthony ‘Tony’ M. Thompson passed away at age 25.

He was born November 21, 1993, to his loving parents, Robert and Terri (Shire) Thompson, in Ocoee, Florida.

Tony was raised in Bristol, Pennsylvania alongside his younger sister, Deborah Thompson. He relocated to the Ridgway/Clearfield, Pennsylvania area in March 2015. There he met his fiancé, Bailey Gearhart, whom he fathered two sons with; Silas Matthew (August 28, 2016) and Abel Warren (April 24, 2019).

Tony loved to cook. He enjoyed creating new concoctions to force his family to eat and they were actually quite good. He also enjoyed collecting coins. Tony could sift through piles of change searching for any rare or quality coins to add to his collection for hours. Most of all, Tony loved his family and being a father. He had an intense sense of protection for his family, and an incredible amount of love. He had a giant smile that could light up any room and a goofy laugh that would make everyone else join him. Tony had a magnetic energy about him that drew everyone to him; he was kind, silly, empathetic, and strong.

Tony is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Harold and Joan Thompson, formerly of Bristol. He is survived by his parents, Robert and Terri (Shire) Thompson, of Ridgway, his fiancé, Bailey Gearhart, his sons, Silas and Abel, of Clearfield, his sister Deborah Thompson (John), of Langhorne, sister Erica Thompson and brother Joshua Thompson, of Tennessee, paternal step-grandmother, Germaine ‘Gerri ‘ Thompson, of Levittown, maternal grandparents, Ronald and Deborah Shire, of Tennessee, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, a niece, and a nephew.

A memorial service will be held from 10:00AM to noon on Saturday, September 14, 2019 at Calvary Baptist Church 250 Green Lane, Bristol, PA. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice.

PA Simple Cremation is assisting the family with arrangements.

I watched Tony grow up since grade school. He was like another son to me. Between school, sports and personal functions our families spent a lot time together and grew very close. He is in heaven now, and is with my daughter. She always treated him like another little brother, and I am sure she is still going to do that. We all love you Tony.

R. I. P. Anthony, you are in God's loving arms now.

When you go into your garden you pick the best flowers, so when God goes into his garden he also picks the best...(Anthony).
My thoughts and prayers are with the Thompson Family.
