Obituary for Budd Painter Jr.
Budd Howard (Howie) Painter Jr. passed away on October 19, 2022, from natural causes, at his home. He was born to the late Budd and Jewell (Fowler) Painter on July 31, 1957. He loved to pull ponies and graduated in 1975 from Punxsutawney Area School.
Howie enjoyed watching old Westerns. He loved spending time with his daughter, son in law, and grandchildren. He was the biggest Steelers fan around!
Howie is survived by a daughter Kristi (Peace) Bush and husband Jordan Bush and his grandchildren, Aria, Scarlette, and Urijah. In addition, he is survived by his sisters, Carol (Gary) Smith of Punxsutawney, JoAnn (Stanley) Strnad of Dardanelle, AR and Rose (Johnny) Stewart of Bentonville, AR, and a sister-in-law Ethel Painter of Punxsutawney, also several nieces and nephews.
Howie also leaves behind two canine companions, Nova and Dozer and his three pet ducks. He loved to spend his time fishing and in his garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John Painter.
At the wishes of the family, services are private.
