Obituary for Calvin Henry
Calvin Carl Henry, age 80, died of natural causes on July 17, 2023 at the his home.
Calvin is survived by his loving wife, M. Lenore Henry of Punxsutawney, PA; his beloved daughter, Holly King of Wisconsin; and three grandchildren.
He was drafted into the US Military in March of 1971 and received an honorable discharge. He worked at a few machine shops and Benjamin Coal Company, then later opened his own Blacksmith shop in Stump Creek.
Calvin was a great man, loving father, and husband. He married M. Lenore (Weber) Henry on November 24, 1995. United in marriage they have four children, Holly, Barb, Brenda, and Brian; and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Calvin was an active man but liked to keep to himself for the majority of his life. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working as Blacksmith. He will be remembered as a kind and loving person.
A small gathering for family and friends will be held on September 3, 2023 at 1 PM at 3875 Pike Road, Punxsutawney, PA 15767.
PA Simple Cremation, Clearfield is in charge of the arrangements.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the choice of the donor.
