Carol Jean Lake, 73, of State College, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at AristaCare at Hearthside, State College.

She was born June 3, 1945 in Hawthorne, CA, a daughter of Angus A Boynton and Margaret L Boynton (Slocum).

Mrs. Lake owned and operated a car rental agency in Oxnard, CA.

As per Mrs. Lake's wishes, there will be no public services at this time. Interment will be in Pine Hall Cemetery, State College.

PA Simple Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
