Obituary for Charles Anders

Charles Barry Anders, (80 Years) passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday October 11th, 2021 at Mikinly Hospice Facility in Brookville PA, surrounded by his loving family.

“Chuck” or “Pops” as he was more commonly known, was born in Pittsburgh, PA on September 11,1941.

He attended South Vocational-Technical High school in Pittsburgh, PA where he also resided for many years. Chuck was known as a man of many trades, and held many jobs. From working as a milkman in his early years to owning a construction and roofing company. He eventually moved to Berkeley Springs, WV where he owned and operated Anders Construction for nearly 20 years. Other than work, his hobbies included riding his Harley and he was a member of the MTN. STATE ABATE M.C. Chuck eventually retired to Crystal River, FL where he enjoyed Fishing and Crabbing on his pontoon boat. He spent his final years in Dubois, PA. He will be remembered for his many accomplishments and his hard work ethic.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Jackie Anders of Dubois, PA; his Mother Kathryn Polcawich of Pittsburgh, PA; 4 sons Brad Guiher and wife Tracie Guiher of Dubois, PA; Charles M. Anders of Reynoldsville, PA; Joseph M. (Mike) Anders of Jackson, NJ; and Jesse Anders of Crystal River, FL. 6 Grandchildren: Jacob, Dylan, and Abigail Guiher; Nikki Anders; Marley Anders; Brad Mauser; and Kelly R. Anders. 3 Great Grandchildren: Kaylee, Ethan, and Emryee. 1 sister, Barbara Randall and husband Dave of Pittsburgh, PA; and 1 brother Fred Anders of Pittsburgh, PA. 2 nephews Thomas DeTemple and wife Crissy of Gibsonia, PA; Jim Stallings and wife Linda of Siesta Key, Fl; along with many cousins and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his Father Charles; 1 Daughter Kelly L. Anders; 1 granddaughter Joelle Mauser; 2 Brothers William and Michael Anders and 1 Sister-In-Law Audrey Anders.

Memorial will be private for family and arranged at a later date.
