Doris Ruth Carlson was born May 28, 1933 in Kylertown PA and died on July 6, 2021 in her home in Kylertown.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill Methodist Church until its closing and worked as the bookkeeper for Hall’s in Snow Shoe until she retired in 1993.
Doris is preceded in death by her parents Theodore and Zella Ruth “Shields” Carlson of Kylertown, siblings and their spouses Robert and Zelda Carlson, John “Jack” and Betty Carlson, William “Billy” Carlson, and Joan “Carlson” and Tom Coudriet.
She is survived by her brother and his wife Harold and Kathryn “Krieger” Carlson of Kylertown and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation or services per her request. Memorial gifts can be made to AseraCare (Amedisyn) Hospice at 1015 Logan Blvd, Altoona PA 16602.
