Obituary for Emma Russell

Emma Jean Russell 81 of Grampian, PA passed away peacefully on Saturday October 22,2022 at Penn highlands Hospital Dubois, PA. Born December 15,1940 in Washington, PA.

She was the daughter of the late Benjamin Raleigh Largent and Ochel Angeline “Pat” (Naylor) Henderson.

She is survived by her two children: a daughter Wendy and husband William Bowman of Curwensville, PA and a son William and wife Jane Russell of Grampian, PA. Grandchildren: Alex and wife Allison Russell, Katie and husband Thomas Henry, Cooper Bowman and Jacob Bowman. Two Brothers: Ronald and wife Judy of Washington, PA, and Steward Henderson of Perryopolis, PA and her Sibling-in-laws: Marietta Richardson of Clarksville, PA, Patti Butler of Akron, Ohio, Laura Largent of Lower Salem, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jean had worked at Harry London Candies in North Canton, Ohio before having children and then at Clearfield Cheese in Curwensville, PA. She was also a caregiver and a family living provider for Fayette Resources Dubois, PA. She was a member of Fraternal order of Eagles in Punxsutawney, PA since 1994. She liked to travel to see family and friends. She loved the sun and warm weather.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings: Denzel Perry Richardson of Clarksville, PA, John Raleigh “Jack” Largent of Akron, Ohio, Donald Largent, Joanne Winona (Largent) Malson of Washington, PA, James Clarence Largent of Lower Salem, Ohio. Nephews: John Raleigh JR “Jackie” Largent and Rick Robert Bird.

No funeral or memorial services will be held.

Interment will be at Friends Cemetery Grampian, PA.
