Obituary for Pamela Risser
Pamela Risser died peacefully at home on December 31, 2023 in her home in Mahaffey, PA. By her side were her loving husband, Robert (Buck) Risser and her faithful dog

Pam was born to David Lee and Gertrude (Dete) Sweely, both deceased.
Aside from a few years living in Utah, Pam spent all of her childhood and most of her adult life on a peaceful spot merely feet from Chest Creek in Mahaffey. It was a perfect spot to enjoy grandchildren, her dogs and bird watching.
Pam married Buck on August 26, 2007, and has spent the years since enjoying traveling, and while home, listening to Chest Creek’s calming sounds.
Pam is survived by her husband, Robert Risser; three sons, Cory Elling (Ashley) of Homer City, Josh Elling (Nicole) of Mahaffey, and Frank Elling of Johnstown. Also surviving are six grandchildren, Lexi, Tristan, Tanner, Savannah, Ryan and Kylie, a stepdaughter, Allison of Newark, MD and two step granddaughters, Isabella and Rori. Also surviving are three siblings; David Lee (Lucy) of Curwensville, Susan Henry (Garry) of Marion Center, and Laurie Burba (Rich) of Homer City, and several nephews.
Pam was also preceded in death by a niece, Beth Rainey Vanderneck.
No service will be held at this time.
