Born in Bloomington, IN, to William Edwin and Mary Elizabeth (Dodd) Constable, Anne and her family moved to the Washington, DC area in 1973.
She spent the majority of her career in bookkeeping and accounting roles for municipal government, non-profit associations, and property management firms in Maryland and West Virginia.
Educated at Hood College in Frederick, MD, in 1991 she was awarded a BA in Philosophy.
Her volunteer efforts included tutoring adults in literacy, as well as sewing adaptive clothing for wounded service members.
Married to Steve Nelson (1980-1983) and Ron Fribush (1989-1997), both marriages ended in divorce. There were no children.
Over her lifetime, Anne owned and loved several cats, and tended numerous gardens. She revered nature and all living things, and doted on her backyard birds. She was an accomplished cook who referred to herself as The Food Lady. A talented artist, she often worked in pastels and cut paper and created many portraits of celebrities and family members, as well as other subjects including nature and still life.
Anne treasured her privacy and cherished a home outside of major population areas. Upon retirement, she moved to Emporium, PA, where she lived until the end of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by two siblings: Bryan Constable of Burien, WA, and Amy (Constable) Belson of Millersville, MD.
