Christine E. Mattern

Christine Elizabeth (Stauffer) Mattern passed away at home on October 3, 2026 following a courageous battle with breast cancer. 

She was born December 11, 1973 to Larry Stauffer and Robyn (Conrad) Muth, they survive. On June 16, 1994 she married Robert Mattern, he survives. 

In addition to her parents, Christine is survived by her children David (Stacey) Mattern of Saegertown PA, Ashley Mattern of Springtown, TX, and Lindsay (David) Mattern of Springtown, TX; ten grandchildren Ava, Rylee, Kylee, Wesley, NOVA, Christopher, Maverick, Jameson, and twins Paisley and Oakleigh; a sister, Danette; maternal grandmother, Jean; her dog, Ray; and a very special friend, Johnnie Walker. 

She was preceded in death by sister, Brandie Sue Stauffer; both maternal grandparents and 1 paternal grandfather. 

There will be no services per her request. There will be a celebration of life at a later date and time.
