Clayborn Richard Adams Jr.

Clayborn Richard “Rick” Adams, Jr., of Brookville, passed away on June 16, 2026, after a long illness.

Rick was born on March 2, 1957, in Pottstown, PA, to the late Clayborn Adams, Sr., and Lucille (Eckhardt) Adams and was raised in Schwenksville, PA.

Rick was an avid jack of all trades. He loved to tinker and build and was always ready to help anyone. He retired from the auto parts industry and later ran his own successful handyman business for several years.

Along with his parents, Rick was predeceased by his daughter, Jessica Adams Christman.

Rick is survived by his wife, Diane (Frondek) Arose Adams; his children, Clayborn Adams III (Ashley) of Perkiomenville, Cassandra Jones (David) of Reading, Robert Arose (Lisa) of Brookville, John Arose of Punxsutawney, Stephen Arose (Serenity) of Punxsutawney, Ryan Arose (Jenn) of Punxsutawney, and Andrew Arose (Matt) of North Dakota; his grandchildren, Emmalynn, Gwyneth, Jonathan, Parker, Emelia, and Deandra; his sister Sharon Adams (Susann); his brother David Adams; his son-in-law Jeremy Christman; and the mother of his children, Debra Deemer.

A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
