Dennis A Freeman , 79, of Grampian Pa, passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Mount Nittany Medical Center , State College.
Born April 28, 1945 in Grampian, he was the son of the late Jean E Russell Freeman Mays and Kenneth Freeman.
Dennis was a veteran of the United States Army.
He worked at Clearfield Cheese, Thomas McDonald Coal, Hepburnia Coal and Grampian Water & Sewage Authority. Past member of the Grampian Volunteer Fire Co.
He is survived by his son Robert J. Freeman of Delaware; daughter, Brandi S. Collins and husband Spencer of Grampian; grandchildren, Dakota McCracken and Jaide E Collins; a sister, Judith Dwyer and companion James Bloom of Grampian; a brother, Kenneth (Snooks) Freeman of Wyoming; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Bruce Mays.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be held at the Tri County Church of Grampian, 1420 Chestnut Grove Hwy., Grampian on October 12, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
