Donna Marie (Long) Ferrand

Donna Marie (Long) Ferrand, 80, of Punxsutawney, went to be with the Lord on July 18, 2026 at Penn Highlands Dubois surrounded by loved ones.

Born in Punxsutawney on October 30, 1945, she was the daughter of Martha (States) and John Long.

Donna had many careers over the course of her life. She worked as a phlebotomist at Adrian hospital, a speaker assembler at Rola Jensen, a carbon packer at NAC Carbon and a medical transcriptionist at DuBois Regional Medical Center.

Donna enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and watching old westerns. She was protestant by faith and attended Solid Rock Community Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Michelle Ferrand, Punxsutawney, a nephew, Chris Haskell, Brisbane, Australia, numerous cousins and her beloved cat, Hazel.

There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
