CURWENSVILLE – Frederick L Painter, Jr., 60, of Curwensville, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023.
He was born October 26, 1962 in Clearfield, the son of Frederick L Painter and Nancy M (Reasinger) Dixon.
Fred was a graduate of Curwensville Area High School, Class of 1981.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penn State Nittany Lions fan and loved hunting with his grandfather.
Fred is survived by his father and his wife, Linda Painter of Woodleaf NC; one sister Tina Cromwell and her husband Rick of Salisbury NC; two nieces and one nephew, Andrea Goble, Casey Blackwell and Drew Vaughn; and several great nieces and nephews. Fred is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins, including his cousin, Bridget Hile Spingola, who helped in his care the past few years.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
A special thanks to the wonderful care Fred was given at Fresenius Kidney Care in Philipsburg PA.
There will be no public services held.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The National Kidney Foundation.
