Howard Archer Walker, III passed away on January 1, 2026.
Known affectionately as “Pop” or “Poppy,” Howard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. A widower, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Adele Walker, in 2020.
During his early years, Howard served in the United States Air Force, and later with the Air Force Reserves and Civil Defense of Camden County, NJ. He also served his community as a volunteer firefighter for over 25 years. Professionally, he built a successful career selling fire trucks and ambulances and owned a thriving business providing emergency vehicles and equipment.
He is survived by his daughters, Dorian Giorgio (Joseph), Lori Walker-Kalbfleisch (William), and Janine Walker-Caffrey (Drew); seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and his sister, Karen (Walker) Oliver.
Services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church in Merchantville, NJ, on January 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
