Jacob “Jake” Lee Auker

Jacob “Jake” Lee Auker, 51, passed away unexpectedly. Born on November 19th, 1974 in Lewistown Pennsylvania. He was the son of Larry S Powell of Lewistown, and Teresa D (Auker) Walter of Milroy.

Jake’s world was measured by the steady roar of a classic V8 engine, the sharp, patient focus of a line cast over open water, and the scratch of a pencil bringing an idea to life on paper. Whether he was spending a Sunday afternoon cheering on the Eagles, walking the rows of polished chrome and custom paint at a local car show, or just sitting back with his favorite music playing in the background and building model cars. Jake approached his passions with an effortless, genuine enthusiasm that drew people in.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Curtis J. Powell of Lewistown.

Daughters: Bailey Sausman (and her two children) Lilly Walters, and Joy P. Mesner

Sons: Mason X. Auker and Cayden J. Auker

Sisters: Angel A. Walter of Pleasant Gap, Angela M. Rearick and her husband Matthew, of Lewistown, Michelle R. Henry and her husband Ronnie, of Lewistown, Shannon L. Powell of Lewistown and Jocelyn S. Peterson and her husband Nick, of Burnham.

Extended Family: Many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A private celebration of life for the family will be held at a later date. No public services will be held.
