James David Manyak

James (Jim) David Manyak, born October 16th, 1952, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 9th, 2026 in State College, Pennsylvania.

Jim was born and raised in Flint, Michigan to Thaddeus (Ted) Manyak and Geraldine (Gerry) Darrah Manyak. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1974.

While Jim was an accomplished man, first becoming a CPA before becoming his lifelong vocation of anesthesiologist, his proudest accomplishment was his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Gerry and his brother Michael (Mike) Manyak (Becky). He is survived by his wife, Cindy Lee Manyak and his children: Patrick Joseph Manyak (Brooke); Gabriel James Manyak (Andrea); Michael David Manyak; James (Jimmy) Raphael Manyak and his grandson, Peyton Robert Manyak and his sister, Patricia (Pat) Kraft (Bob).

He was known for his work ethic, strong love for his family, devotion to God, and his boyish humor. He loved cars, music, cookies (sweets of all kinds), football, Judo, the ocean and watching a good movie with his family.

He was loved by his family and patients.

He will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
