James "Jim" Sherwood, 90, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026.
Born September 24, 1935, in Helvetia, PA, Jim was the son of the late Ernest and Freda Sherwood. He graduated from Penfield High School with the Class of 1953 and retired from Triangle Springs in 1998 after many years of dedicated service.
Jim was a hardworking man who valued family, honesty, and a job well done. He especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley; his brother, Ken Sherwood; and an infant brother. He is survived by his brother, Randy Sherwood.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his children, Lisa Hague (Mike), Kermit Sherwood (Mary Jo), Mark Sherwood, Richard Sherwood, and James Sherwood (Sabina); 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and many extended family members and friends.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held later this summer. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Jim's memory.
