Judith Elaine Moore, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on April 29, 2026, in Ebensburg, Pennsylvania, after a lengthy illness. Born on February 23, 1940, in Camden, New Jersey, Judith lived a life with a fiery spirit that was honest, straightforward and caring. She left an impression on all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Judy, as she was affectionately called, was a dedicated homemaker, distinguished baker and cook, she enjoyed creating meals and treats that brought everyone together.
A graduate of Collingswood High School, Collingswood, New Jersey, class of 1959, Judith had fond memories of where she grew up. Her hobbies included cooking, baking, gardening, playing Bingo, and above all, spending time with family. She loved every family holiday and gathering, especially Christmas, which was her favorite time of the year. Some of her most cherished moments were those spent with her grandchildren—Madison, Ryan, Cooper, and Elena—whose laughter and love filled her days with happiness.
Judith is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, John David; her son, David J. Moore, and his wife, Jill; her daughter, Stacey Eckenrode; as well as her beloved grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Warwick, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Wilbur and Mildred Mick, her sisters Joyce Catling (brother in law Elmer), Jean McDowell (brother in law Ron), brother-in-law John Warwick and her son-in-law Eric Eckenrode.
At Judy's request, there will be no visitation and a private family service. In lieu of flowers, condolences can be mailed to John D Moore PO Box 355 Colver, PA 15927.
