Katharine Coleman Foor Dix passed away in her home on Thursday October 16th.
She was born in Harrisburg, PA on November 19, 1942 and graduated from William Penn High School in 1960. Kathy and her husband have been residents of State College, PA for the past 64 years. She was an avid genealogist and published several books on ancestry.
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Ruth Anwyll Foor of Harrisburg, Pa and is survived by her husband Allan Dix, brother Robert Foor (Janet), her children Frank Dix (Darlene), David Dix (Kristina), Gwenda "Wendy" Dix Fraser (David) and many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed.
