Bill touched so many lives in so many wonderful ways through the years. I only saw him when I returned to Clearfield for CHS reunions and special events, but he was always there and always helping. It'll be sad not to see him this August. Our hometown won't be the same without him.

Our August event for the Class of '65 will be missing an important person. Bill's work was appreciated, and he will be fondly remembered.

To Bill's Family...I was saddened when I heard of Bill's passing. We were classmates of the class of '65. He always came to visit me at The Progress where we shared stories. After retirement, I saw him every week at Wal*Mart where we would chat. Bill loved his town, his classmates and his kittens, or as he called them his "Kids". Rest In Peace my friend. Always involved in our reunion planning and present at our classmates’ families’ funerals and viewings, Bill was a loyal member of our graduating class. And he would show up, even if it meant riding his bike across town through sleet and snow in the dark of night. RIP

I will miss Bill. He was at every funeral I attended. He was very good that way. I taught him to swim at the Y long ago.

I first met Bill at the US Nationals at Indy in 1973. Little did we know that a lifetime friendship would be formed. We camped and sat together until 2003, when health issues set in. We talked on the phone monthly through the years, talking about our passion for drag racing. Rest in Peace old Friend I'll think about you everytime I watch racing. So sorry for you loss.
